Australian metal band Parkway Drive has released their first single in three years, 'Sacred'. The band, formed in 2003, describes the song as a surge of positive energy.
According to frontman Winston McCall, 'Sacred' is a response to negativity, urging listeners to maintain their identity and hope. The single precedes a busy year for Parkway Drive, including a sold-out symphonic show at the Sydney Opera House in June.
Parkway Drive will also co-headline the 'Summer Of Loud' tour in the U.S. and Canada. A 20th-anniversary European arena tour is scheduled for the fall, featuring Thy Art Is Murder and The Amity Affliction. 'Sacred' is the first release since their 2022 album 'Darker Still'.
