New Orleans Jazz Fest 2025: Dave Matthews Band, Burna Boy, Haim, and More Headline

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival's first weekend concluded on April 27, 2025, with vibrant performances across its many stages. The Dave Matthews Band, a headliner at the Festival Stage, attracted a large audience with a mix of their popular hits and cover songs. During their set, Matthews also touched on U.S. political themes.

Burna Boy, the Nigerian artist, headlined the Congo Square Stage, delivering a blend of Afrobeat, dancehall, and R&B with his expansive band. Haim wrapped up the Gentilly Stage performances, showcasing new singles from their forthcoming album and inviting their parents to join them as Rockinhaim.

Big Freedia brought her bounce music infused with gospel roots to the Gospel Tent. The Revivalists also took to the Festival Stage, incorporating local New Orleans musicians into their performance.
