Judas Priest's Live in Atlanta '82 is currently making a splash on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart in the U.K. The live recording, from the World Vengeance Tour on December 11, 1982, continues to resonate with fans.
The album debuted at No. 13 on the chart, which tracks top-selling rock and metal albums in the U.K. This marks Judas Priest's 16th appearance on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart. It was released as a double LP solid red vinyl for Record Store Day on April 12, 2025.
Earlier in 2025, a reissued Rocka Rolla also charted, reaching No. 7 in February. Live in Atlanta '82 was initially available on CD as part of the 50 Heavy Metal Years of Music box set. This is the first time the concert has been released as a standalone project.
The current Official Rock & Metal Albums chart features 15 new entries. Despite landing at No. 13, Live in Atlanta '82 is a noteworthy debut.
