Lil Wayne has announced that his highly anticipated album, 'Tha Carter VI' (C6), will be released on June 6, 2025. The announcement was made on April 22nd via social media, accompanied by the album's cover art, which pays homage to his previous albums, 'Tha Carter III' and 'Tha Carter IV,' featuring baby photos of Wayne covered in tattoos.

To celebrate the release, Lil Wayne will be headlining his first-ever show at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City on June 6th. Fans attending the show will be among the first to hear songs from 'C6' performed live. Tickets will be available for purchase starting April 25th, with presales beginning April 23rd at 10 AM ET.

'C6' will feature a range of guest appearances, including Miley Cyrus, Bono from U2, Andrea Bocelli, Machine Gun Kelly, Wyclef Jean, Elephant Man, and Wayne's son Kameron. The album may also include a track with an uncleared Billie Eilish sample. Lil Wayne shared that he recorded 30 songs with Wyclef Jean, experimenting with different sounds and styles for the album.
