Lady Gaga experienced a brief microphone issue during her Coachella 2025 performance on Friday, April 18th, during her song "Abracadabra." Her head mic began cutting out early in the set, but she quickly switched to a handheld microphone to continue the performance.
Despite the technical difficulty, Gaga continued her choreography seamlessly, even using a cane in one hand. Within minutes, she received a new, functioning head mic and completed the rest of her performance without any further issues.
Later, while seated at the piano, Gaga addressed the audience, acknowledging the earlier problem. She stated, "I'm sorry my mic was broken for a second... at least you know I sing live. I'm giving you my best tonight," which was met with enthusiastic applause. This performance was part of her "Mayhem" showcase, promoting her new album MAYHEM, which will be taken on tour starting in July with stops planned across North America, Europe, the U.K., Mexico, Brazil, and Singapore.
