Catholic Music Awards Announce 2025 Nominees
The Catholic Music Awards' official website has unveiled the nominees for its first international edition. The top three finalists in each category will be announced on June 10th. Winners will be revealed at the end of July in Rome, during the Jubilee for Influencers and Youth.
The jury is currently evaluating music and videos from Christian Catholic singers in Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, and Italian. The awards ceremony is scheduled for July 26th and 27th, 2025, in Rome. This event aims to gather prominent figures in international Catholic music, establishing itself as a significant celebration of contemporary sacred music.
Nominees Include Brazilian Artists
Nominees include Brazilian artists Aline Venturi, Rodrigo Grecco, and Albanita de Cássia. The duo "Piano, Voz e Adoração" from Rio Grande do Sul, featuring Leandro Ávila and Pablo Voloski, with Fabrício Medeiros, also received nominations. Their album "Meu Descanso," released in Christmas 2024, earned four nominations.
The nominations are: "Meu Descanso" for Best Music in Portuguese, "Diante do Altar" for Best Liturgical Music, "Amado de Minh'alma" for Best Praise and Worship Music, and "Pare um Pouco" for Best New Singer (Leandro Ávila).
