Deradoorian Releases Funky New Single "No No Yes Yes"

Angel Deradoorian has released a new single titled "No No Yes Yes," a funky, post-punk track featuring a prominent bassline and mechanistic percussion. The song is the fourth single from her upcoming album, Ready For Heaven, which is scheduled for release on May 9, 2025, via Fire Records.

The track blends deadpan post-punk vocals with euphoric disco runs. The music video for "No No Yes Yes" was directed by Jennifer Juniper Stratford.

Previous Singles and Album Details

Deradoorian previously released three singles from the album: "Digital Gravestone" (December 2024), "Set Me Free," and "Any Other World." Ready for Heaven deals with themes of heaven and earth, damnation and salvation, and uses intelligence against rampant greed. The album is said to be a classic set of inquisitive pop songs.

Deradoorian was formerly the bassist/vocalist for Dirty Projectors. She also has a project with Russian musician Kate Shilonosova (aka Kate NV) called Decisive Pink. In February 2025, Deradoorian announced that she would be opening for DARKSIDE at their California shows in Santa Cruz and San Francisco in April and will have a record release show at LA's 2220 Arts on May 10.
