Zartmann's "Schönhauser" Debuts at Number 1 on German Album Charts; Jazeek's "Akon" Tops Singles

According to GfK Entertainment, German pop singer and rapper Zartmann's EP, "Schönhauser," has reached the top of the official German album charts. The collaborative album "Who Believes In Angels?" by Elton John and Brandi Carlile secured the second position. DJ Koze's "Music Can Hear Us" landed in fourth place, following Jazeek's "Most Valuable Playa" at number three. Hip-hop artist PA Sports' album, "Parham," occupies the fifth spot. In the single charts, rapper Jazeek's "Akon" has replaced Zartmann's previous chart-topper, "Tau mich auf," which now holds the second position. Oimara's party hit, "Wackelkontakt," takes the bronze. GfK Entertainment compiles the official German charts on behalf of the German Music Industry Association, covering 90 percent of all music sales.
