Vishal Dadlani, a singer and composer, has announced his departure from Indian Idol after judging six seasons. Following the Season 15 finale, Dadlani posted a video on Instagram with co-judges Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah, signaling his exit. Dadlani expressed gratitude to the show's crew, co-judges, singers, and musicians. He cited his desire to return to making music, performing live, and spending less time in Mumbai as reasons for leaving. Aditya Narayan, the show's host, noted the end of an era with Dadlani's departure. Dadlani's tenure as a judge began in 2018 with Indian Idol's 10th season. Manasi Ghosh from Kolkata won Indian Idol 15, receiving a cash prize and a car.
