Elton John and Brandi Carlile have released their collaborative album, 'Who Believes in Angels?', on April 4, 2025, via Island EMI Records. The album, produced by Andrew Watt, faced initial hurdles, with John expressing frustration during the recording sessions held in Los Angeles' Sunset Sound Studios in October 2023. Watt enlisted Bernie Taupin to co-write, resulting in the honky-tonk rocker 'Little Richard's Bible,' a tribute to Little Richard. The album features ten tracks, including 'The Rose Of Laura Nyro,' a duet honoring the late singer-songwriter Laura Nyro, and the title track, 'Who Believes In Angels?'. The album includes eight songs by John and Carlile together, along with a solo song from each. Other musicians contributing to the album include Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, bassist Pino Palladino, and keyboardist Josh Klinghoffer. The album was recorded in just 20 days.
