Back Cove Music & Arts Festival Debuts in Payson Park

The new Back Cove Music & Arts Festival will make its debut in Payson Park on August 2–3, featuring headliners:

  • Jack White

  • André 3000

  • Lord Huron

Joining them are Lucy Dacus, Margo Price, Madi Diaz, Weakened Friends, and Oshima Brothers. Tickets are currently available for Southern Maine residents, with general sales starting soon.

Emmanuel Jal Becomes the First South Sudanese Artist at Coachella

In 2025, Emmanuel Jal will make history as the first South Sudanese musician to perform at Coachella. He will share the stage with Haitian DJ Francis Mercier, creating a unique musical fusion across cultures.

Jal recently released “Bilebile”, a song celebrating the resilience of women, featuring Shammalee and Nyadollar. The track blends traditional South Sudanese sounds with modern Afro-house beats and was released under Sondela Recordings.

These events highlight how music continues to unite, transcend borders, and introduce new cultural experiences to the world.
