Nine years after Kim Kardashian's terrifying robbery in Paris, the trial of the alleged perpetrators, dubbed the 'Grandpa Robbers,' has begun. The incident occurred during Paris Fashion Week in 2016 when a gang broke into her hotel room. They held her at gunpoint, tied her up, and stole $10 million worth of jewelry. The trial, taking place at the Palais de Justice in Paris, is expected to last three weeks. Kardashian is scheduled to appear in court on May 13. One of the accused, Yunice Abbas, even wrote a book about the heist, titled 'I Held Up Kim Kardashian.' The robbery involved a group of men who gained access to Kardashian's hotel room disguised as police officers. They stole jewelry, including her $4 million engagement ring from Kanye West. The stolen items were believed to have been taken to Belgium to be melted down and sold, with only one piece recovered to date.
