Meghan Markle Appears to Use HRH Title, Contradicting 2020 Agreement

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has seemingly used her HRH title, a move that contradicts a previous agreement made when she and Prince Harry stepped down from their royal duties.

During a podcast interview with Jamie Kern Lima, founder of IT Cosmetics, an image surfaced showing a gift basket sent by Meghan with a note reading: "With the compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex." The Duchess recalled dropping off the basket after moving to California.

This use of the title appears to violate the 2020 agreement, where Buckingham Palace stated: "The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal family." A source close to the Sussexes suggested the image might be old.

This incident follows another instance where Meghan published a note from Ukraine's vice-prime minister, Yulia Svyrydenko, which addressed her with the HRH title and was seemingly uncorrected. The note began: "Your Royal Highness, I would like to express my sincere thanks for everything your family is doing for Ukraine."
