Prince William and Princess Kate decided to spend Easter with their children instead of attending the traditional Easter service at St. George's Chapel in Windsor. The Prince of Wales informed King Charles III of their decision, which he accepted.
The family chose to spend the holiday weekend at Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk. They prioritized spending quality time together before their children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, return to school.
This marks the second consecutive year that Kate and William have missed the Easter service. Last year's absence followed the announcement of Princess Kate's cancer diagnosis. She recently shared a video expressing how nature helps her find peace during her recovery.
Kate Middleton announced in January that she was in remission from cancer. She had announced the end of her chemotherapy treatment in September 2024. Since then, she has gradually resumed her official duties, including a visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital.
