Salma Hayek Claims Donald Trump Pursued Her, Then Planted 'Too Short' Story After Rejection

Edited by: Татьяна Гуринович

During a past appearance on *The Daily Show*, Salma Hayek recounted an alleged encounter with Donald Trump before his political career. Hayek claims Trump, despite knowing she had a boyfriend, made advances and subsequently spread a false story about her. Hayek stated that Trump offered her his coat at an event and then, bypassing her boyfriend, invited them both to his Atlantic City hotel. He later contacted Hayek directly, suggesting she should date him because her boyfriend wasn't "big enough." After Hayek rejected his advances, she alleges that Trump planted a story in a tabloid claiming he wouldn't date her because she was "too short." Trump then reportedly called Hayek, feigning concern about the story and attempting to use it as leverage to persuade her to date him.
