Former President Donald Trump has publicly commented on Tiger Woods' relationship with his former daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump. Trump confirmed that Woods informed him of the relationship.
"Tiger actually called me a few months ago, and we have a very special, very good relationship with Tiger," Trump stated. He added, "I played golf with him a couple of times over the last month, and he's a fantastic guy and a fantastic athlete, and he told me about it, and I said 'Tiger, that's good.'"
Trump expressed his well-wishes for the couple, saying, "I'm very happy for both, I just, let them both be happy. Let them both be happy. They're both great."
The relationship between Woods and Vanessa Trump, who divorced Donald Trump Jr. in 2018, became public knowledge recently when Woods posted photos of them together on social media. Vanessa Trump also shared a photo on her Instagram account.
