The award recognized Kelce's viral surprise appearance during Swift's Eras Tour show in London on June 23, 2024. Kelce, dressed in a tuxedo and top hat, carried Swift onstage during the 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart' skit at Wembley Stadium. Swift also took home eight other awards, including Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year. In a video message, Swift expressed gratitude for her Eras Tour being named 'Tour of the Century'.
