The Winelands festival, a celebration of English wine, is scheduled in Lewes from June 22-29. The festival will feature pop-up wine events, tastings, film screenings, supper clubs, and vineyard tours. The aim is to showcase wines from Sussex and South East England. Charleston Lewes will host a drop-in tasting event showcasing wines from local vineyards. Cheese plates will be available to complement the tastings. Later, Charleston Lewes will host a pop-up supper with wine critic Olly Smith, featuring a long-table feast paired with English wines. Wine lovers can explore regional vineyards on a curated tour hosted by Tom Surgey. Guests can choose a tour bus or a cycling route. Profits will be donated to Lewes District Council's Exceptional Hardship Fund.
