ZDF is currently producing two new films in the "In Wahrheit" series, with filming scheduled until mid-August 2025. The main roles are played by Christina Hecke as Judith Mohn and Robin Sondermann as Freddy Breyer.
In "In Wahrheit – Die Liebe und der Tod," Judith and Freddy face a relentless stalker. In "In Wahrheit – Verschwiegen," they investigate a suspicious bicycle accident that may be murder, uncovering a network of silent witnesses.
The production company is Network Movie Film- und Fernsehproduktion. The new films are planned to be broadcast in 2026. The "In Wahrheit" series, known for its thrilling crime stories, first aired in 2017 and has previously premiered on Arte before being shown on ZDF.
