Rachel Brosnahan, known for "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," will portray Lois Lane in James Gunn's upcoming film, "Superman: Legacy." Brosnahan shared insights into Lois and Clark Kent's dynamic in an interview with Collider.
The film, set to release on July 10, 2025, will not be an origin story. It focuses on a specific moment in their relationship. Brosnahan emphasized that Lois and Clark are soulmates, united by their pursuit of truth and justice, though they approach the world differently.
The movie marks the beginning of the new DC Universe (DCU). The cast includes David Corenswet as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and others. Amy Adams, who played Lois Lane in the DCEU, expressed her support for Brosnahan, calling her "fantastic" in the role.
