HBO has released a new trailer for the series based on "Harry Potter", and the return to the magical world already looks very atmospheric.
The video showed the new Harry, Ron, and Hermione, as well as Snape, Dumbledore, Hagrid, and McGonagall. And, of course, Hogwarts itself — the Great Hall, the staircases, the magical classes, and the familiar Christmas atmosphere.
The main roles are played by Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout, and Arabella Stanton. The adult cast is also impressive: John Lithgow plays Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu plays Snape, Nick Frost plays Hagrid.
The creators promise a more detailed adaptation of the books than the feature film format allowed. The first season will be dedicated to "The Philosopher's Stone", so the story will include more details that once had to be cut.
The premiere is expected on 25 December 2026.
