Kevin Spacey has joined the cast of the conspiracy thriller The Awakening, marking a significant step in his career after his acquittal of sexual offense charges in 2023. Directed by Matt Routledge, the film follows Jason (Justin Tinto) and Rebecca (Alice Eve) as they unravel a global conspiracy.
The film features a star-studded cast, including Peter Stormare, Steve Berkoff, Julian Glover, and Eddie Hall. The Awakening is currently in post-production after filming at Pinewood Studios.
The Awakening is produced by Camelot Films and financed alongside Tinto. Cloud9 Studios is launching worldwide sales for the film at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. The film boasts talents like editor Chris Gill (28 Days Later) and cinematographer Laszlo Bille (Blade Runner 2049).
