Three international films co-produced by Luxembourg have been selected for the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, which will take place from June 4th to 15th, 2025. This selection highlights the strength of Luxembourg's film industry.

Jim Sheridan and David Merriman's 'Re-Creation,' starring Vicky Krieps, will be featured in the 'Spotlight Narrative' section. Produced by Fabrizio Maltese, the film explores personal recovery following a tragedy. The film is inspired by the real unsolved murder of French filmmaker Sophie Toscan du Plantier and imagines a jury's deliberations if the main suspect had been tried in Ireland. A Luxembourgish team contributed to the production, including post-production work.

Two additional films with Luxembourgish involvement will be in the 'International Narrative Competition.' David Verbeek's 'The Wolf, The Fox and the Leopard,' co-produced by Alexandra Hoesdorff and Désirée Nosbusch, involves Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ireland, Croatia, and Taiwan. The film follows a feral girl who has spent her life living among wolves is taken on an odyssey through contemporary human life while the threat of climate apocalypse looms. Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani's thriller, 'Reflet dans un diamant mort,' co-produced by Gilles Chanial with Belgium, Italy, and France, was screened at the Luxembourg City Film Festival in March and will be released in Luxembourg in July. The film tells the story of John, a septuagenarian living in a luxury hotel on the Côte d'Azur, who is intrigued by his neighbor, who ends up mysteriously disappearing.
