Netflix is officially adapting the popular video game 'Sifu' into a feature film. T.S. Nowlin, known for his work on 'Maze Runner' and 'The Adam Project,' will write the screenplay. Chad Stahelski, the director of 'John Wick,' and his company 87Eleven Entertainment are producing alongside Story Kitchen. 'Sifu' tells the story of a young martial artist seeking revenge for his master's death. A magical talisman resurrects him upon death, aging him each time. The film will be exclusively distributed on Netflix. With over three million copies sold, 'Sifu' has already seen an adaptation in Prime Video's 'Secret Level' series. Nowlin's upcoming projects include 'Highlander' and 'Ghost of Tsushima,' while Stahelski's studio is working on adaptations of 'Rainbow Six' and 'Tomb Raider.' Story Kitchen, known for bringing video game titles to the big screen, will lead the film adaptation of 'Sifu'.
