Nike is launching a limited-edition collection of Dunk Low sneakers in collaboration with Harris Tweed Hebrides for Fall 2025. This partnership blends Nike's design with Harris Tweed's traditional craftsmanship, which is deeply rooted in the culture of Scotland's Outer Hebrides.
The collection will feature three distinct colorways, each showcasing authentic Harris Tweed wool handwoven by islanders. These include a classic black-and-white houndstooth pattern, an earthy brown tone, and a vibrant pink blush hue. Each pair will bear the official Harris Tweed Orb label, guaranteeing its authenticity.
The collaboration celebrates a key moment in the modern history of Harris Tweed: a 2004 order from Nike for 10,000 meters of cloth. This order significantly contributed to the revitalization of the Hebridean textile industry. The Nike Dunk Low Harris Tweed collection will be available globally through the Nike website and select retail partners, with each pair priced at $135.
Harris Tweed Hebrides is credited with revitalizing the Harris Tweed industry, a vital part of the local economy. The mill employs over 70 people and supports more than 100 home weavers. This collaboration underscores the lasting appeal of traditional craftsmanship in contemporary fashion.
