The Antwerp Six, a collective of six designers who graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, are set to have their work showcased in an exhibition in 2025. The group, consisting of Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Marina Yee, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dirk Van Saene, and Dirk Bikkembergs, gained international recognition after a joint show at the British Designer Show in London in 1986.
The exhibition will feature early works from their time at the Royal Academy, as well as collections that defined their careers. Kaat Debo, director of MoMu, commented that the Antwerp Six have shaped recent fashion history. She expressed excitement about bringing together the designers' work to explore their legacy and influence.
Details regarding tickets and other information will be released on the official website this autumn.
