Chopard's 'Insofu' High Jewelry Collection: A 2025 Paris Fashion Week Highlight

Edited by: Екатерина С.

Chopard showcased its 'Insofu' high jewelry collection during Paris Fashion Week. This collection marks the second time the brand has created an entire collection from a single gemstone. The source is a 6,225-carat rough emerald, discovered in Zambia in 2022, named 'Insofu' after its elephant-like shape.

The 'Insofu' collection, unveiled by Caroline Scheufele, features 15 unique pieces. Each creation highlights the original stone's color and character, reflecting Chopard's artistry and ethical sourcing commitment. The emerald's journey, from mine to finished jewelry, is fully transparent.

Transforming the emerald required expert cutters from India, who collaborated at Chopard's Geneva workshop. They devised cuts to enhance the stone's allure while preserving carat weight. The process yielded 850 carats of emeralds, resulting in various jewelry pieces. All pieces from the collection have been sold. A portion of the proceeds will support Elephant Family, a nonprofit focused on conservation and wildlife coexistence.
