London Fashion Week, known for its individualistic designers, showcased Dilara Findikoğlu's FW ready-to-wear collection. A Central Saint Martins graduate, Findikoğlu is celebrated for her tailoring, gothic romanticism, and feminist vision. Her latest collection transported audiences to a female-dominated planet, drawing inspiration from Venus, the Roman goddess. The show featured skin-tight gowns, corsets woven from hair, and pearl-studded ensembles. The "Birth of Venus" jeans stood out, paired with leather pants and a phoenix-feathered gown. Milan Fashion Week Women's Collection is scheduled from February 25 to March 3, 2025, opening with Gucci. The week includes 153 appointments, with 56 physical and 6 digital shows. New brands like Francesco Murano, Fiorucci, and Giuseppe Di Morabito will debut. Lorenzo Serafini will present his first collection as Creative Director of Alberta Ferretti, and David Koma for Blumarine. The event also features 65 presentations, 4 by appointment, and 23 events, including an exhibition celebrating Cristobal Balenciaga. Fendi will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a co-ed show, while Dsquared2 and K-Way mark their 30th and 60th anniversaries, respectively.
