Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has brought attention to vulnerabilities in electronic voting machines, advocating for a return to paper ballots to ensure election integrity. Gabbard stated that her office has evidence indicating these systems are susceptible to manipulation. This announcement was made during a Cabinet meeting. Furthermore, Gabbard announced plans to release files related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr. This follows President Trump's executive order in January 2025 mandating the declassification of these records. Gabbard mentioned that over 100 people have been working to digitize these documents, which have remained unexamined for decades. The National Archives released approximately 80,000 pages of JFK assassination records in March 2025. The release of RFK and MLK files is expected in the coming days. It should be noted that the King family has expressed concerns and has sought to block the immediate release of some files related to MLK's death, citing privacy concerns and the need for review.
