Zaragoza has transformed its Gran Vía and Paseo de Fernando el Católico into an open-air museum, showcasing sculptures by renowned international artists. This project, titled 'Paseo Es-Cultura,' is a collaboration between the Zaragoza City Council and the Ingenio Azul Foundation.
The initiative began with the installation of three prominent works. These include Arnaldo Pomodoro's 'Torre Spirale,' a reproduction of Pablo Gargallo's 'David,' and a piece by Jorge Oteiza. These sculptures enrich the city's cultural landscape.
The project aims to offer citizens and visitors an accessible and enriching art experience in the city center. The 'Paseo Es-Cultura' is expected to evolve with the addition of more artworks in the future, solidifying Zaragoza's commitment to public art. (Source: Cadenaser.com, June 18, 2025)
