Edited by: Irena I

The Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) in Brisbane will host the free exhibition 'Wonderstruck' from June 28 to October 6, 2025. This major event will showcase over 100 artworks by more than 70 international and Australian artists. The exhibition is designed as an immersive experience, divided into six thematic chapters.

A key attraction is Yayoi Kusama's 'The Obliteration Room,' an interactive installation that allows visitors to transform a white environment with colorful dot stickers. Other featured artists include Ron Mueck, Nick Cave, and Michael Parekōwhai, each contributing significant works to the exhibition.

To mark the opening, QAGOMA will host the 'Wonderstruck Festival' on June 28–29, offering workshops, live music, and food trucks. The exhibition, open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, is free to the public. This event is expected to draw significant international attention, solidifying QAGOMA's position in the global art scene.
