Miart, the international modern and contemporary art fair, is set to take place in Milan from April 4-6 at Allianz MiCo. Organized by Fiera Milano with Intesa Sanpaolo as the main partner, this year's edition commemorates the centenary of Robert Rauschenberg's birth. The theme 'among friends,' inspired by Rauschenberg's retrospective, will guide the fair, emphasizing collaboration and exchange within the art world.
Nearly 180 galleries from 31 countries across five continents will participate, showcasing a range of art from the 20th century to contemporary works, including design. The fair will feature Established, Emergent, and Portal sections.
Miart will also include awards, a collaboration with SZ Sugar miart commission, and Ice - Agenzia for promoting Italian businesses internationally. New this year is a collaboration with the Ministry of Culture's Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity, which will have its own space at the fair. Intesa Sanpaolo will present an exhibition dedicated to Rauschenberg, featuring Rauschenberg's 'Blue Exit.'
During Milan Art Week, the BFF Gallery will also open in the Portello district with the exhibition 'Baj + Milton 'Paradiso perduto' i paradossi della libertà.'
