The "ArpAmare 2025" prize, now in its fifth edition, was presented in Bari, Italy, by the Regional Agency for Environmental Prevention and Protection of Puglia. This unique national initiative combines artistic expression with environmental protection, engaging young artists from Puglia. The top three winners will receive a cash prize and participate in an intensive workshop at the "Scart" laboratories of the Hera Group, where they will learn sustainable art techniques using recycled materials. This project, conceived by Herambiente, transforms industrial waste into art, promoting the concept of a circular economy. The competition is open to students and graduates of the Academies of Fine Arts in Bari, Foggia, and Lecce. The artworks must depict the Apulian sea as both a landscape and an ecosystem to be preserved. Winners will be awarded during the World Oceans Day event in June. ArpAmare 2025 reaffirms Puglia's commitment to promoting environmental culture through art, educating and transforming perspectives on sustainability.
