Balogh Mirjána's animated short film, 'Wish You Were Ear,' produced at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) with support from the National Film Institute (NFI), has won the Crystal Bear for Best Short Film at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival. The film, featured in the Generation 14+ program, captivated audiences with its unique world and profound message.

'Wish You Were Ear' explores a world where separating couples must exchange a body part, symbolizing the lasting impact of past relationships on one's identity. Balogh Mirjána highlights the film's central theme of accepting changes from past relationships and how they become part of our personality. The film is a milestone in Hungarian animation, following the success of other MOME Animation films at Berlinale. The MOME Animation department, renewed in the fall of 2023, is expanding its offerings with specializations in Video Game Design and Immersive Storytelling.
