Edited by: Ek Soshnikova

The Spanish Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025, running from May 10 to November 23, is spotlighting Mallorcan architects. Four out of the sixteen selected projects for the 'Internalities: Architectures for Territorial Equilibrium' exhibition originate from the Balearic Islands.

Studios TEd'A, Isla Architects, Munarq, and Peris+Toral are among the participants. Their projects demonstrate a commitment to sustainable construction practices that harmonize with the environment, utilizing local materials and energy-efficient designs. The exhibition emphasizes reducing environmental impact and promoting self-sufficiency in architecture.

The 'Internalities' exhibition, curated by Roi Salgueiro and Manuel Bouzas, explores strategies for decarbonizing architecture, focusing on materials, energy, and waste reduction. It showcases how Spanish architects balance ecology and economy in their designs.
