The 19th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, curated by Carlo Ratti, will open to the public on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, and remain open until November 23rd, 2025. The exhibition is located in the historic Giardini and Arsenale, as well as other locations in the city and mainland.
This year's theme, 'Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective,' explores how architecture, technology, and nature intersect to shape the future. The exhibition invites visitors to consider how different forms of intelligence can address pressing global challenges, particularly climate change.
The Biennale features national pavilions from 66 countries, including debut entries from Azerbaijan, Togo, Qatar, and Oman. These pavilions showcase local ingenuity and context-specific solutions to global issues. The event includes collateral events and the Biennale College Architettura, fostering education and exploration of climate crisis solutions.
