South Korea is set to begin construction on the world's first floating city in Busan by 2025. The project, named Oceanix, aims to address the challenges posed by rising sea levels, particularly for coastal communities.
Developed under the auspices of the United Nations, the floating city will consist of interconnected modular platforms. These platforms will be built on concrete bases and anchored to the seabed.
