A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The mission includes the SPHEREx space telescope, designed to collect data on over 450 million galaxies and 100 million stars to enhance understanding of the universe's origins. The mission duration is projected to be approximately two years.

Additionally, the rocket will deploy four PUNCH satellites to observe the Sun and investigate the effects of solar winds. The launch is set for 8:10 p.m. local time, with a backup launch window available at the same time the following day. The Falcon 9's first stage will return to the launch site for landing.
