NASA's Halo module, the first habitation module for the Gateway lunar station, arrived in the USA on April 1st. The pressurized unit, designed for living and logistics, was shipped from Turin and is now undergoing assembly and testing at Northrop Grumman in Gilbert, Arizona. Halo is a key component of NASA's Artemis program, aimed at re-establishing human presence on the Moon and preparing for Mars missions. It will provide living and working space for astronauts, as well as control and data management capabilities. Equipped with multiple docking ports, Halo will accommodate NASA's Orion spacecraft, lunar landers, and logistics units. It will also support scientific equipment for research and technology experiments in deep space.
