Blue Origin's upcoming crewed mission, slated for this spring, will feature Katy Perry alongside an all-female crew. The New Shepard rocket will carry Perry, CBS host Gayle King, and Lauren Sánchez, Jeff Bezos's fiancée. The crew also includes research scientist Amanda Nguyen, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe. This marks New Shepard's 11th human flight. Lauren Sánchez, who is leading the mission, aims to challenge perspectives of Earth and inspire future generations. The mission, designated NS-31, will surpass the Kármán line, 62 miles above Earth, the recognized boundary of space. This will be the first all-female flight since Valentina Tereshkova's solo spaceflight in 1963.
