Kerr County has experienced the most significant impact, with 84 confirmed fatalities, including 28 children. The floods, which began five days prior, have caused substantial damage, particularly near the Guadalupe River.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has stated that around 24 people are still unaccounted for. President Donald Trump has issued a federal disaster declaration, providing financial and logistical support to the affected areas. The weather forecast includes scattered showers and thunderstorms.
