A powerful tornado ravaged Enderlin, North Dakota, on June 20, 2025, leading to extensive destruction and claiming three lives. The victims, two men and one woman, were discovered in different parts of the town, situated roughly 57 miles southwest of Fargo.
The tornado's impact extended into northern Minnesota and Wisconsin, affecting communities like Spiritwood, Valley City, and Fort Ransom. Approximately 25,000 residents experienced power outages, with some areas, including Sheldon, remaining without electricity until Saturday evening.
Meteorologist Timothy Lynch reported wind speeds surpassing 114 mph across eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Governor Kelly Armstrong offered condolences, acknowledging the tragic loss and the widespread damage endured by the Enderlin community.
