A small tornado touched down in Destin, Florida, on May 10, 2025. The tornado, originating as a waterspout near Henderson Beach State Park, crossed Highway 98.

The City of Destin Government reported property damage, flooding, and traffic lights out along Highway 98. Destin Fire-Rescue indicated significant standing water and debris on roads, particularly near Henderson Beach State Park and the Fresh Market parking lot.

Approximately 77 locations are without electricity. Authorities advise caution in the area as emergency crews work to restore power and clear debris. No injuries have been reported.
