Piedras Negras, Mexico, experienced severe flooding after 4.5 inches (125 millimeters) of rain fell in just two hours. The intense rainfall caused widespread chaos and damage across the city and the northern region.

At least 30 neighborhoods were affected, with homes and streets inundated. Several roads were closed due to the floodwaters, which swept away cars and trucks.

Authorities implemented the DN-III-E Plan in coordination with the military to respond to the emergency. The Escondido River surged more than four meters, prompting ongoing monitoring to prevent further flooding.

In Eagle Pass, Texas, a person was reported missing due to the floods. Emergency crews are actively involved in rescue and assistance efforts, including rescuing stranded motorists.

A temporary shelter has been set up to assist affected residents. Residents are urged to stay informed through official channels and take precautions in flooded areas.
