uk Anticipates Mini-Heatwave, Primarily in Southern and Eastern Regions

Edited by: Anna 🎨 Krasko

England is bracing for a mini-heatwave expected to peak around May 12th, with temperatures potentially reaching the mid-twenties Celsius. This is approximately 10°C higher than the average for this time of year. However, the warmer conditions will be largely confined to the southern and eastern counties of England.

Regions from Skegness and King's Lynn down to Hampshire and the south coast, including Essex, East Anglia, the Home Counties, Kent, and Greater London, are most likely to experience the elevated temperatures. Unfortunately, the North of England, including the North West and North East, is expected to miss out on the warmer weather.

The Midlands and the South West may also not fully experience the heatwave. While some cloud cover and light rain are possible in the north, most of England and Wales are predicted to be predominantly sunny and dry later in the week.
