A minor earthquake with a magnitude of 2.1 on the Richter scale was recorded in Northeastern Bulgaria on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 12:27 PM. The epicenter, according to data from the National Seismological Center at the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography - BAS, was located near the village of Preselentsi in the municipality of General Toshevo, Dobrich region, 9.5 km southeast of the town of General Toshevo and 403 km from Sofia. The depth of the quake was 13.2 km below the earth's surface.
