Geomagnetic disturbances were recorded on Earth on February 27 and 28. On February 27, a G2-level magnetic storm, classified as moderate, was observed. Prior to this, on the night of February 28, a weaker G1-level storm occurred. While geomagnetic conditions are currently described as moderately disturbed, the probability of auroras remains low. Earlier, on February 25, the most powerful solar flare of the year was recorded. Russian scientists captured the expanding cloud using space-based coronagraphs. It was observed from approximately 1 AM to 9-10 AM Moscow time.
