Mysterious Orange Orb Sighted in Saltdean on January 13

Edited by: Uliana S. Аj

On January 13, Andrew Pound spotted a large, bright orange orb in the sky over Saltdean while waiting for his wife. Described as resembling a 'little orange moon', the orb appeared for a minute before disappearing.

Four minutes later, it reappeared three miles to the west, and then again directly in front of him. Andrew captured it on his phone, stating, 'I've never seen anything like it and have no idea what it could have been.'

He ruled out common explanations such as a drone or fishing boat, noting the orb was extremely bright but not glowing or pulsating.
