The U.S. Climate Prediction Center has issued an advisory regarding the potential return of La Niña between November 2025 and January 2026. Currently, the climate conditions in the Northern Hemisphere are neutral. This forecast is based on recent data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Sea surface temperatures (SSTs) have remained near average across much of the equatorial Pacific, indicating stability in key maritime thermal patterns that are crucial for global climate. The next update to this global climate assessment is scheduled for release on June 12, 2025.
