The "Terres d'Ailleurs" festival in Frontignan, from April 7-18, 2025, invites the public to explore the mysteries of the seas and oceans. Organized by the Kimiyo association in collaboration with the city of Frontignan and the Montaigne media library, the festival aims to delve into the depths of marine environments through film screenings and virtual reality workshops. A key focus will be on the evolution of the coastline and coastal erosion, addressing the impacts of climate change and the adaptation of coastal ecosystems. The festival includes an exhibition on coral reefs, marine birds, a film workshop, and a BioLit outing to Frontignan Plage. A screening of "L'Océan vu du Cœur," featuring Hubert Reeves, will be followed by a discussion on ocean preservation with Jérôme Bourjea from IRD.
